Crosshair X keybinds don't work in-game?
If your keybinds (toggling the crosshair, switching designs, hide-on-hold, and so on) work perfectly on the desktop but do nothing once you're in a game, it's almost always a permissions mismatch — not a broken keybind.
Why it happens
When a game (or its launcher, like the Riot Client or Epic Games Launcher) runs as administrator but Crosshair X does not, Windows blocks the lower-privilege app from sending input to the higher-privilege one. The keybind press never reaches the game, so the crosshair stays on whatever was last selected.
The fix: match privilege levels
Prefer not to run as admin?
The alternative is to run the game the same way. If you don't actually need the game or its launcher to run as administrator, turn that off so both apps run at the normal privilege level — that resolves the mismatch too.
